CS968 incompatible with RC11

Hi guys. (It is my first post, so excuse me for any mistakes)

I have recently bought a CS968 Tv box from geekbuying and after a while I bought an RC11 air mouse from them, as I have read in here that they are compatible.
The problem is that they do not connect at all.
When I connect the RC11 to my pc it works well.
When I connect it to the tv box nothing happens. I have tried to reset it with various key sequences but nothing happens. They do not see each other at all...
I have tried to find a solution from geekbuying but with no luck.

Is there something I can do?
Maybe is it a firmware issue with the tv box?
Has anyone else had the same problem?

mine works just perfect without any modifications. plug n play with cs968
