[SOLVED] - Please, tips about unbrick CS968?

    Hi.
I went to change the firmware of my CS968 and lacked electricity.
Now the CS968 will not turn and Windows 8 does not recognize the USB.
I can not connect the CS968.
Type: power off. Blue light stays off. Power Adapter: ok.
    Any tips?

    EDITION (Analyzing the better occurred):

Actually, without realizing it, I started updating the firmware with the power connector disconnected.

Started and gave the error message, it just "accumulated" energy.

Now the CS968 will not turn over. Although energized. It is as if the USB OTG were without power.

    Hi Webipsum,
So you try to kill your cs968.;-)
Hopefully Nand can switch into loader or mask mode.

Try connecting your device otg port with your Pc. Start flash tool for controlling the mode. Then hold the reset button for about 5 seconds. Does it switch in a mode?

      JDfense.
As I said the CS968 is not start.
      Blue light does not light.
As the CS968 will not turn on, Windows says it does not recognize the USB. Displays the message: Unknown Device.
I have to find a way to connect the CS968, so that the USB be fed and to be recognized by Windows.
I have done several firmware changes without any problems.
This time, the CS968 power cable was disconnected and I started changing the firmware. The CS968 execute until that its "internal battery" allowed. See log.
From this point, the CS968 died!

Whatsoever you do, ONLY install a pure 100% stock ROM back on your CS968, this will reset the original parameters back on you CS968... At this stage, DO Not try to install anymore custom ROM builds back on your device, wait until it's booting up correctly ...

          Tks Tech1.
Now I can not install any firmware.
Although the CS968 is connected correctly (energized), USB OTG do not is recognized by Windows. Displays the message: Unknown Device.
So I can not use the flash tool.

            Webipsum, try to calm down.
Tech1 is right. Flash only stock ROM to repair, but before you must get into flash or mask mode.
Let us know what you have done to get back into flash or mask mode.

Sorry webipsum, forget your blue light on the cs968.When you flash a wrong ROM or break up the flashing before the end of process, you will have of course no power light.
You have only to watch on a flash tool light, blue or pink would be good. So please try what I wrote before and let the power connector unplugged. Use only USB for power and setting into flash mode.

                ... test results ...

                Friends. The following test results.
When I connect the USB on the PC appears the message: USB device not recognized.
When I press the reset, Windows makes the characteristic sound and the message appears again: USB Device Not Recognized.
I am using the following flash tool: Rockchip Batch Tool v1.7.
But, Windows is not recognizing the USB UTG.

I had the same problems you are having. The way I solved it was to use a different pc. I found out that no matter what I did it wasnt recognized by the pc and it used to be all the time. 3 out of the 4 usb ports are now dead on that pc (not sure why). So I guess I'm saying try a different pc, it worked for me.

When Windows make the sound, we have a choice.
                    -connect USB with Pc.
-press and hold reset button then...
-plug in USB in otg port while still pressing reset button until your cs968 switches into loader or mask mode. Could be a bit tricky until your device stays in loader/mask mode.
When this way is not possible, I have only the last idea: Throw it in garbage.

                    Stop, I'm kidding. 😆
Only option see is nand reset. This works only direct on the open cs968. You have then to short pins on the nand chip. In most cases it is pins 7to8 or 9to10. You need to see the data sheet of your nand ship

                      Tks brick0044.
Both my PC and my Desktop PC Notebook, have the same problem.
The two are running Windows 8.1.
The Desktop PC is what I always use to apply the firmware.
What I find very strange is Windows does not recognize the USB UTG, and before always recognized without any problems.

                        JDfense.
                        I realized the suggested steps:
The reset button is functioning normally.
When I press the reset USB UTG resumed and appears the Windows message:
                        USB device not recognized.
I hope I have definitely broken my CS968.

The trick is not only short pressing the reset. Have you hold the button for some second?

                              1) I started the exchange of firmware with the disconnected power cord.

                              3) From this moment Windows 8.1 no longer recognized the USB UTG the CS968.

                              The solution:

                              1) I located a computer with Windows XP.
                              2) I connected the CS968 and installed the corresponding drive.
                              3) XP recognized the CS968 and the flash tool is connected to the equipment.
                              4) But in the first two attempts the firmware installation stopped at the same point with the same error message.

                              5) The third time, when he stopped at the same point and appear before the error message, I disconnected and re-connected the USB cable (equivalent reset).
                              6) From there the firmware installation completes successfully and ...

                              The CS968 is risen!
