I had the same problem this week, tried everything - new power supply , flashed a new ROM but no matter what I did it kept re-booting. Finally I cracked open the cover and measured the voltage across the capacitor near the OTG USB connector, and the voltage was around 4.4vdc. Obviously the USB connector is not up to the task of powering the QX1. So I cut the power cable and soldered the plus to the cap and the negative to the ground plane at the HDMI connector. While I was there I put a heatsink on the processor. Reflashed with highest performance ROM I could find. Working sweetly since - not a single reboot.
