I had the same issue and flashing standard 1.2.5 with rkbatch brought it back to life. Hope it will work for you too!

flashed with RKDevelopTool_v1.37 btw so strange - i try now flash again 0.95 - and cannot start it too for first time so strange

Thanks at all for your work wasser - i tell you always because is true that your firmware add my player back to normal live. I don`t have time to work with firmware but i can get you a information form my friednds and me as user your firmware. For me now version 1.2.5 is best of your work and no matter CWM not working, but I think is time to work on version 4.4 KitKat. I find one more Website that other people work with firmware for Ugoos - i see when i was unpack that they have bootloader in version 2.10 an larger system file than yours. Site is there:

Wasser, thanks, using 0.95 firmware browser can't browse the internet. Information:

Model: T-R42 (with Bluetooth)
Chip: RK3188-T (no fan, just a black sticker)
Board: K-RK3188-V4.3
Wireless chip: Realtek RTL8723AS

How do i install this ROM?
I tried connecting via USB - the PC is recognizing the box as a drive but I cannot install the "class for rocketusb driver" for my win 8.1 system. whenenver select the driver on the installation wizzard it doesnt show me any compatible device. pressing the recory button and then installing drivers doesnt do anything either..

This is a common Windows 8 problem and is not specific to this ROM.

Hi misantronic!

I tried a hundred times to get it working under Windows 8(.1)
without any success.
Finally I took an old WinXP which I had left.
However, there is a working solution under Linux also.
Only Win8 is not working due to a changed driver managment.
Some people tell here in the forum they wer successfull. I tried
as described but it did not work for me at least.

Hi,
I flashed the firmware again.

It updates it fine but when it boots up with recovery the first time, I can see it says unable to mount for first three lines . But the message it too quick to check.

The box stays no now but there is no display.

Any ideas?

hi everyone and wasser

the firmware is working great perfectly only one little tiny problem
i use my ethernet, whenever i put my tr42 to sleep and wake it up the ethernet does not work i have to power off then open to bring back ethernet

am i the only one with this problem or its common?thnks
