About NFS modules.
While modules auth_rpcgss.ko and sunrpc.ko not included in new archive,
I get it from archive K-R42_HFW_1.1.2_720p.rar\HFW_1.1.2\Modules 3.0.36 RK3188.rar
(without it there many errors while insmod lockd.ko)

My cmds:
insmod sunrpc.ko -OK
insmod auth_rpcgss.ko -OK
insmod lockd.ko -OK
insmod nfs.ko -Error

dmesg result:

<6>[84294.442547] RPC: Registered udp transport module.
<6>[84294.442564] RPC: Registered tcp transport module.

I get exactly the same error (Minix X5, 4.2.2 kernel 3.0.36+)

leo i just check nfs modules and they insmoded just fine.
and........ NFS is working Great!!!
i used your kernel, now i will check on stock.

mount share using terminal with comand:

mkdir /mnt/nfs
busybox mount -o rw,intr,soft,nolock [B][COLOR=#006400]192.168.1.102[/COLOR][/B]:/mnt/HD/HD_a2 /mnt/nfs

it doesn't work with stock kernel, i tried to insmod the following modules in order:
sunrpc.ko
auth_rpcgss.ko
lockd.ko
nfs.ko

i got with insmod ngs.ko the errors: nfs: Unknown symbol dns_query (err 0)

try uncheching adb under development settings and check it again.

Good!!! Kernel boot, nfs working, I fell we are near.
And what about spdif?
What about heat?
Has the kr42 heat disipator? Now thanks to sam321 and phjanderson we can oc a little gpu too.

Please lewy or other one who test the kernel, can you give me a dmesg just after install the ethernet module? And tomorrow I will try to fix it. I suspect that maybe compiling the driver inside the kernel must help.

Edit: this kernel is only a basic one, we can fine tune it a bit yet, now is with frame skipping fix, now we have a solid base to work with.
Next steep ethernet, and after av out and rk1000. Waiting fir confirmation about spdif.

the device is wrm but not hot.
i will give you dmesg in couple minutes.

also can you try to compile dns_resolver.ko?
i think it should solve nfs on stock kernel.
