Android 5.1.1 for the CX-919 (CM12.1)


This ROM needs first generation bootloader so follow instructions precisely.


Bugs :- Bluetooth


For smoother UI feeling you can lower or disable all animation scales in developer options (Tap 5 times on build number in the settings menu ´´about device´´ to enable developer settings in the main menu)


Kernel features

- HDMI Output with real REC.709 16-235 color support!
- pureXbmc with dolby/dts passthrough
- 720/1080 24P/25P support
- HDMI-CEC support

1920x1080 at 60, 50, 30, 25, 24 Hz
1280x720 at 60, 50, 30, 25, 24 Hz
720x576 at 50 Hz
720x480 at 60 Hz
640x480 at 60 Hz

Kernel doubles the framerate at 24/25Hz if your Monitor supports.
24/25 will be displayed at 48/50.


Instructions (be aware: it is your own risk!) :

Connect the usb port of your device to your PC via USB cable

1) installation of the usb-driver (skip if you have the driver installed already)

2) change the loader
a) run RKDevelopTool.exe
b) press button with the 3 points: load the loader (v1.24)
c) press button Erase ID Block
d) press button Erase All Blocks
e) press button Download
f) exit RKDevelopTool.exe

3) flash the firmware
a) run RKAndroidTool
b) hold reset button on your device while plugging in power
c) press button EraseIDB
d) press button Run and wait for it to finish flashing your device
c) the device will reboot in recovery, do factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache
d) reboot

Is there any Miracast support? (Ability to cast from a tablet to the CX-919, for example.)

I heard that the cx919 and the mk908ii preT models are almost identical. will this work for the mk908ii?

I´m not sure about miracast support. If it´s included in either stock android or cyanogenmod it should be there and working

The mk908ii should work too regardless of a T model. I´m not sure if it has the same wifi chip as the CX-919.
Try it and report, flashing won´t do any harm to a RK3188(T) Device.

Should work replacing kernel.img with a jellybean kernel for the mk902. I´m not sure about wifi and bluetooth though, not aware what chipset is used.
