    Wich usb-dac ???

    Hi
    iam looking 4 a ...maybe cheap...usb-dac for the minix.
    I want to have full 192khz Sound to send IT to the DAC to my Pioneer vsx 921.
    So minix->dac->Pioneer.

    Is it possible ?i know there is a Limitation to 44.1 or 48 kHz....so i want the minix to send the Sound to DAC so the whole stuff ..192khz maybe ...Will be send to my
    pioneer.

    Ive searched the whole web....Lot of stuff......but no advice wich DAC to use
    Thx in advance

        Hmmm...
        Usb dac support is kernel based...
        So, kernel needs usb host enabled.. and usb dac needs to be usb host compatible
        * some apps can bypass the kernel issue as the have there own driver like UAPP , neutron , hf player (but driver only works with the specific app )

        See:
        http://www.extreamsd.com/index.php/t...b-audio-driver

        However most usbdacs have headphone Jack's (dual audio ) (not 5.1 audio like optical cable )
        while the sound can be really great... im wondering what's your goal?

        Note:
        Yes..i can confirm that libreelec has good support for usbdacs
        (Under kodi select output usbdac..select best, variable or lock bit rate )

        note2
        Head-fi.org has a few big topics on using USBdacs on Android devices

          Cool thx for the reply.
          ive got Neutron
          Ok...its ok for me to Connect maybe the DAC with optical or spdif to my Pioneer.
          So :
          Minix->otg-->usbdac->optical/spdif->>192khz->Pioneer.

          Thats what i want.
          2.0 is ok for me.

          I want to know wich USB DAC ist compatibilty with minix x7.
          Maybe someone Tested it before and give me a advice.
          cheap one would be nice.
          And yes i know librelec Support Very nice usb-dac but i want to stay on android.
          Thx for replys in advance

                Minix x7 is old device- rk base. u can't install libreelec-u can't use USB DAC( drivers etc).

                  Correct...
                  the link ( I gave ) states rk3188 does not support usbhost (however lollipop might work)
                  Sadly, libreelec is limited to x86 and amlogic

                  But the X7 has optical/spdif out (I read )
                  So, why not :
                  Android --> optical --> pioneer
                  Most apps will be limited to 44khz
                  but kodi using pass through might be able to bypass limit (and 5.1/Dolby)
