    Inside my MK802IV device

Hello everyone and thanks for a great forum.
I am the proud owner of a KM802IV - old wifi.
However, with lousy software (waiting for you neomode, I know you can fix it)

But in the meantime I will make sure to cool my device properly.
Have some aluminum heatsinks lying, but I'm not quite sure what's what in my device. Ram is easy to spot. 512x2 on each side.
The CPU is probably the one with Rockchip written on? But where is the GPU?

I have big enough heatsinks to cover the entire device, but is particularly in doubt about which side it will be best to place it on?

    What requires the most cooling?

    Thanks in advance

Cpu needs te most cooling if overclocked i think.
Ive got a big heatsink on my cpu and 4 small heatsinks on my ram.
build it in a box from lego

I have read that the rams doesn't get that hot, but I can't confirm that. Anyone?

I'm placing mine inside some old hp box, where I also got the alu. There's room for an hdd and have found a 6a psu. Removing the logo and is locking for some nice android stickers.

But lego sounds really nice :-)

I think the Ram will get hot when you Overclock it to the max.
But before it will not Boot. Have Test it with different Ram Overclock

        Neomode

The GPU is built within the CPU, along with many other peripherals.

Oh okay. So it is preferably best to put a heatsink on the bottom side of the PCB. To cover the rockchip and some of the rams..

For I have no big interrest in building a big brick on both sides.

            Thank you
