Resize user partition Tronsmart R28 official Lollipop 5.1.1

Hi, as one of the (seemingly) few people enjoying the 5.1.1 firmware I'd like to be able to expand the user partition past 1gb. Can anyone help please?

After trying and failing with the Geekbox tool, I figured out how to get to the parameter file by unpacking it in Android tool (if anyone is even further behind the curve than me is reading), anyone know what to change? Tried the Firefly tool with no joy, managed to make the NAND storage vanish but the user partition stands firm at 0.97GB

This is the untouched version, tried to change the value before (userdata) to 0x00620000@0x00BD8000 aiming to get 5GB of storage and it failed. What am I doing wrong please?
