    Asus Chromebit RK3288

Has anyone had their hands on one of these https://www.asus.com/uk/Chrome-Devices/Chromebit-CS10/ and only just seen them looks like same spec as the R89 im quite tempted. They run chrome which isnt android I know but should be easy enough to flash just need to see which wifi chip it is and the kernel should be really up top date i would hope. Maybe plenty of source code available from asus

Nice device but if you want to run Android on it this might be a problem. If there is no source code for kernel then it might be almost impossible to run Android on it. Even if it has similar parts as Beelink R89 these devices have different internal connections (mainly GPIO) and that must be properly configured mostly in DTB. I also doubt that Asus used ACT8846 as PMIC.

Even so it seems that you can install Linux there.

Some time ago Google mentioned something about unifying Chrome OS and Android. I hope they can manage it.

i think its the same gpu as in the beelink boxes as its part of the rk3288 cpu i might be wrong could be a mali t760 cant be arsed looking but if i could get my hands on one im sure id get android going on it. Dont forget these are system on chip so i would only really worry about wifi chip. Unless voltages and timings are code controlled. like ive said before im just a bodger but nothing ventured noting gained and it wont have shit nand lol
