    Stress Test Scenario

Because neither 'System Tuner Pro' nor 'CPU Temperature' are able to determine the CPU Temperature, I have to find another way and I find it and that's what I have done during the hole day

For CPU usage at 100% I use
'StabilityTest (ROOT optional)' => classic test

I determine the values every ~1 second.

First 15 minutes (starting the 'classic test' after ~1/2 minute):

The SoC runs at 4 cores at 1.8GHz for ~14 minutes till it reaches 105°C. Unbelievable!
Then it begins to throttle. But not at 4 cores, no no, only at ONE core to 0.816GHz. Yes, the other 3 cores are at 1.8GHZ... and not all the time the one core throttles to 0.816GHz and not even the same one...

    The next both 15 minutes:

During this time the SoC sometimes also throttles at TWO cores but not really often. Here an example:
    Code:
    104 816000 103 1800000 104 1800000 104 816000
    104 1800000 104 816000 103 1800000 105 1800000
    104 816000 103 1800000 104 1800000 105 1800000
    103 816000 102 1800000 103 1800000 105 1800000
    103 816000 102 1800000 103 1800000 104 1800000
    103 816000 102 1200000 103 1800000 103 1800000
    104 1800000 103 816000 102 1800000 103 1800000
    104 1800000 103 1800000 104 816000 103 1800000
    103 816000 103 1800000 103 1800000 104 816000
    105 1800000 105 1800000 105 1800000 106 1800000
    103 1800000 104 1800000 104 1800000 105 1800000
    103 1800000 102 1800000 101 1800000 103 1800000
    103 1800000 104 1800000 105 1800000 103 816000

    Good test..

Hold on,the Max cpu frequency is 1.6G right now..If you want the real 1.8G or 1.9G or even 2.0G..I can modify to you
Easy way to catch LOG -> Search 'Syslog' in Google Play, then install it and catch log

      Very Interesting

Be interesting to know whats the watts/amps are doing to the power pack when the device is under the pump.
Especially with a few peripherals plugged in doing there thing and wi-fi etc.

Could you do any other activity on the device while it was pumping out those High numbers.

      Cheers

It seams to be able to manage multitasking like a charm...

and believe it or not, but at the moment the stress test is running (1.8GHz @ 4 cores) AND I'm watching a video with the stock player
(class10 SD at NTFS and MKV (x264,1080P, 19.1 Mbps))

BTW: without full load these are the values at stock player (after short cool down time)

Well If you have not let the smoke out yet, then it all looks good if not great.

If you would like to build these kernels I will also do a stress test for the first both 15 minutes...

I also thinking about a way to monitoring during graphical i/o (2D / 3D)... maybe I will find a way...

I did record it with my phone:
                http://youtu.be/AquX-4aP89g
This "unwanted" stress test could have been going on for upto 16 hours and still all 4 cores at 100% at 1.8GHz.

                That is an excellent result.

Good thing those holes were added.
