    I tried the command and it says 1080p but i'm still not convinced.

    I have tried playing with the developer settings but non of them seem to make any difference.

    I think it could be the drivers or the implementation.

      i tried rebooting after making some changes and it does appear to be much better.

      Still skeptical on why I can't play any youtube videos above 720p.

        Maybe the YouTube app can't play them in an HDMI?
        I can say that for me is 1080p, but I don't want to convince anyone.

          1080p is 100% or it can be scaled to even 90%

          @scandog. I forgot that there is also another setting in HDMI menu when you can scale video output. It is set to about 95% default. You should adjust it to your display device and preferably it should be 100% as it is for my monitor.


          As for YouTube Android app and lack of 1080p mode it is all Google fault (policy). If you want 1080p YouTube playback on Android then you will have to use web browser. But there is also a catch because Google is forcing VP9 vodeo codec and to this date Chrome can't use hardware acceleration on RK3288 or rather Mali T-760MP4 using that codec. Happily H.264 codec is working rather good but to get it you will need to change Chrome User Agent and pretend to be Windows XP PC (Windows NT 5.1). Then you will get AVC (H.264) stream.

              Sorry, but I take a break in rk32 for now, I am with my team mates making a new quickshot rom for rk3188 devices, after this we will make a quickshot rom for some rk3288 devices , I will try to include this one

                      i try to install your rom over finless 1.2, but the androidtool give me :"match device type failed"

                      what can i do?

                      i just rename the original build.prop, and it works.

                            Did you compile against firefly sources? If so, does this work with normal r89 LED settings, IR remote, etc.?

                            If so where did you get the config for those?
