cs918II how to update

hello ,

I own a cs918II and I found lots of roms here ...

but I do not know how to update it with the software rkandroidtool

there must be something I do not know, because rkandroidtool never detected the cs918II

Can someone explain to me the trick for my cs918 be detected?

I just found the button below the box is very hard to handle

How did you manage it ?

a) Where is "the button/ reset switch" or something like that ?
b) the Stock rom 84.4.2) does NOT allow USB debugging settings to "on" (tick in a box NOT posibble it´s greyed off :-(
c) where did you get the firmware alternative and WHICH SW did you use to "upgrade" (Rockchip 1.7 doesnt work for me, by the way)


p.s.
did you know whether a "linux" image from other vendors (e.g. Radaxa) will start from SD Card, or is there something similar you maybe know ?


A short Feedback would be great :-).

At the moment with the stock firmware of my CS918II my experience is very BAD (XBMC is not running for sd nor HD material, HW accelleration in XBMC is not working, libstrafight.so problems....:-(
