Hello, i have a mk902II, today i have tried to update the firmware, but i cant do it. The divice i think 2 months ago when i updated the firmware, when i plug to the pc, the light turn on no need to plug the power suply, now i wont power on the light and the pc wont se the device, them i plug the power suply of the mk902II and the pc see the device, them i start the upgrade of the firmware but it stops at 1% and shows red bar giving error. i tried on android tool, bach tool, and the same on the 2 programs.

Now i plug the mk902II to the tv, and it shows an android dead and a recovery menu, but i dont know how to upgrade the firmware whith that. I put the firmware file on the micro sd card but the device dont see the file.

It could be helpful if you would tell us, which error you get...
At /log of the androidtool v2.3 you will find a log-file, please delete every log-file, start the tool, try to flash and post the log-file....

Yes, of course you need the PSU because you have to power on the device... I have no idea how it should work without the PSU... does it work without the PSU????

Ok, if it really starts without PSU you have to try it again with PSU...

At your log it shows that it start to write to the eMMC/NAND but if arrive the boot-"partition" it gets write-errors which I think is because of eMMC/NAND...
If it always happens at the same point than I'm nearly sure it's because of the eMMC/NAND...
Or do you recognise that the PC loses the connection to the device?

I flash mine with only usb, on the other firmware.

I think I lost the original usb cable, what is the size of the original cable?

Ok, but I don't think it is a future but more like an issue, and because of the lower power at USB I think someone will get the trouble at some PC and at others not...

It looks like a driver issue or corruped file as failed at start up remove the drivers and reinstall re download the file and extract them and try again. That is also not same rom as stock firmware so make sure you have the correct file. 1227 was last release.

Had a similar situation, was a bad cable, took on a new shorter and all I ask. Insert into USB on the motherboard without extensions
