TV01II RK3288 HTC + HPH mo123 v1.4 firmware v1.02 :)

Time to fixes.
Unfortunately, our manufacturers do not do anything in this field.
I must do it yourself.
Firmware should also fit to MK902II, Measy B4S and other TV players based on PCB from HTC.
Upgrading on Your own risk.
These players really hard to brick.

I stayed at the kernel from firmware TV01II 20140910.
According to me it is faster and more stable than kernel from firmware TV01II 20141226 (tested it conscientiously).
My test results on v1.02:
Antutu scores 36000-37000
Wifi 40MB/s-50MB/s

Fixes:
- better stock video playback
- stock player now plays m2ts files

Changes:
- framework & lib from latest HPH NT-V6 firmware 150129 (better stability)
- added SPMC v14.1
- added some usefull apps (if You don't like this, You can uninstall)

I created a new, maybe someone join two threads.

I did a lot of combinations, so let's go.

The new firmware includes fixes reported in the previous thread:
- HOME button works (on remote control works too)
- DTS and AC3 works in stock player and MX player
- remote control works perfectly

Changes:
- replaced SOLO with NOVA launcher [for me SOLO has too much junk]
- restored stock Internet Browser. There is also a Dolphin, if you want.
- added the best Reboot from Petrus

This firmware is for HTC boxes as TV01II, MK902II.

Ubox is the same as Beelink R89.
Try wasser firmware.

You can also flash kernel.img and resource.img from Ubox firmware.
Then it should work.

That's why I joined this firmware with mo123.

I've just flashed this rom today and I cannot get DTS nor AC3 to work in SPMC.
Is that working as intended for this rom, meaning that surround sound is limited to stock player and MX player?

EDIT: I should add that DTS and AC3 worked fine previously using libmedia.so hack + a patched Kodi version.

For me SPMC 13.4 from google play works good (DTS and AC3).

Have you verified that it actually outputs surround sound, by checking the receiver? Because for me it doesn't work with neither SPMC 13.4 nor 14.1.

When using S/PDIF there is simply no sound at all, unless I disable passthrough, and then it's of course only 2.0 PCM. With HDMI passthrough, there's sound, but it's 2.0 channel PCM after a short burst of what sounds like binary data is being output.

I'll see if I can install the hacked libmedia.so on this rom, otherwise I'll have to switch back to the old rom from last year.
