I don't think tv boxes are made to play such content with lots of pop ups and using flash player videos, use your PC.

I don't know of a TWRP recovery for RK3288 Nougat, doesn't exist.
Even if it did, you won't be able to update Magisk as it needs a special way to be integrated into firmware for Nougat.

I use HPH NT-V6 RK3288 Custom Nougat ROM v1.0 19-12-2018 and Rooted HPH NT-V-6 Nougat v1.1 on Tronmart R28 RK3288
both firmware same problem?

I was using a self-built Android TV 5.1 ROM on my box so far and discovered your thread only because Google decided to end the support for the old Youtube Leanback v1.3 app and I was suddenly left without a Youtube there. I never got Youtube Leanback v2 working there because videos only played few seconds and then hanged. But the latest 2.08.10 version works just fine with your ROM. Nice!

Any chance of building an Android TV version out of it? Or perhaps sharing your sources so I could build one myself?

I have a Tronsmart R28 Meta (firmvare- Ugoos Stage 3)and I'm trying to upload HPH NT-V-6 Nougat v1.1 using FlashTool v2.59. Every time he doesn't pass the chip fail test. What can I do about it? Is my device not compatible? and I can't do "Erase Flash" either -> IDB Fail

Try a newer AndroidTool v2.71 or FactoryTool.
Unfortunately I can't help you further.
It's time to get a new device and move on.

It's almost perfect, but time to time Magisk decide by itself to turn on "Magisk core only" so it deactivate modules (namely magiskhide) : safetynet displays "ctsProfile:false".


Do anyone know a fix for this issue (as updating magisk is impossible in this 'hack' configuration for hph nt-v6) ?

I've tested it its almost perfect, only some smaller issue,

1, Power management it has just shutdown, or if loose HDMI connect vent to sleep.
2. Leds are not working
3, Wifi isn't working, but ethernet is ok with tp-link

Unfortunately I don't have a device like yours to test and make a firmware for.
But glad you find it useful.
