Cost savings on plastic

You know why they don't want to do so?
I think they are afraid liquid which can damage the device

They could save some money...take a look at one of my fanless cablecard tuners that heat up when all three tuners are used at once with HD content. The unit pictured runs great with nearly zero downtime and never overheats. The model has side vents and bottom vents as well. This is NOT rocket science....

4 years ago I bought the tronsmart Orion r28 meta. Overall a great device for the money but with high temps while watching hd movies or downloading torrents .80 - 85 celcius in full load. Today I decided to install a CPU fan just to see if things get better.

And yes, it works! After watching the same movie , max temp was 65 ° Celcius !
