Ugoos UT3 - How to connect to PC???

    Good morning my friends
I am trying to update the firmware on my Ugoos UT3 but i can`t get the device to connect to the PC. Can you provide clear instructions on how to proceed?
    Thank you.

BTW - Is it possible to update without connecting the device to the PC? By copying the newest firmware to a usb pen and connecting it to a usb port in the Ugoos?

          Cheers Ava
I`ve already tried that guide, but nothing happens!!!
The device doesn`t turn on when i connect it to my pc via usb otg cable and no new device appears on my pc when i link both.
I wonder if this will be the single only freaking way to update the firmware on this device. What a nightmare!!!
          Best regards guys.

              1. Disconnect power cable from device
              2. connect device to pc by otg port
              3. press reset button
              4. connect power cable to UT-3

What operatingsystem are you usingon your PC? if you use Windows 8.1 you need to performadditional steps
If you have official firmware 2.0.3 version and up you can try this:
              1. Connect Ut-3 to PC by otg
              2. Load android
              3. Open power menu
              4. R
eboot bootloader by long press on "Reboot recovery"

                  Hello Ava
First the good news. Your method definitely works for sure. I`ve updated my firmware to 2.0.4 without problems, so well done.
But the bad news is that with this firmware the device seems to have lost root.
So how can i unroot it again?
