Normal Android uses a 1080p kernel.
Thanks for your quick response. Can I ask what if I connect my UT3S to 4K monitor? Will it work? Thanks!

As mo123 wrote, the Android UI (Graphical User Interface) works at 1080 (internal frame buffer 1) and the video-playback at every resolution you want (internal frame buffer 2)...

Because of 4k@60 you should have a look at http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...1-4K-60Hz(FPS)

But only to be sure/clear, the UT3S without the HDMI-IN should be able to handle the 4K@60 if your TV is able to handle the 10bit at HDMI (if I'm not wrong, because I didn't find any feedback about the pcb without HDMI-IN until now)....

                  ut3s not really hdmi 2.0

The new ut3s is not hdmi2.0
                  0
that is why ugoos.net specs showing 1.4
it is because hdmi output of the ut3s is maximum to 4-4-4
so 10 bits and 12 bits colours at 50/60 fps(maybe future standards) does not play well
