Lost in all Roms and Instructions, Help Request some pointers ... Getting right firmware and all hardware functions

TLDR version: Want to install the Zidoo firmware with working clock (http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...hardware-clock) or the Tronsmart and Struggling getting the right combination of firwmare and resource/kernel img to get a working Rk3368

Hello Freaktabbers, ive come into some troubles with getting my box to funciton propperly, i.e. wifi/bluetooth and clock. I resorted back to the original firmware the box seller gave me but even that fw doesnt make my wifi/bt work.

Flashed the Zidoo firmware posted at (http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...hardware-clock) using Rockchip Factory tool using restore function. After boot most functions work like remote control and lan except wifi/bt. I found wifi/bt from the true octacore (http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...irmware-update) work on my box. After i extracted the sources and kernel image from that rom, and flashed it to the appropiated partions using AndroidTool_Release_v2.35, i get a distorted image green lines, remote control stopped working but wifi/bt work.

Im unsure how to continue now could use some help in what combination i should use to get all functions to work. To recap i want to use the Zidoo firmware ((http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...hardware-clock)) but with working wifi/bt drivers.

What's your device? (give as much detail as you've been able to gather, there's so many pcb's for the RK3368 now, it's crazy)

... it shouldn't be too hard to get your chosen combo going; especially if you've somehow gotten my cpu-hacked resources/kernel to run on your device. It must be similar to the Z4 I use for testing.

      HI Shomari and readers,

Thanks for the reply, i know so many boxes i tried so many combinations, cant figure it out anymore lol. Anyway my box is exactly shown in this post (http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...device-r68-1gb) only diffrence i have the 2gb/16gb model. Your original rom octacore has out of the box Wifi/BT working for me, im just not sure how to go on now using these on the zidoo rom (http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...hardware-clock).

      thanks in advance !

... try the resource from this firmware for your device - http://chinagadgetsreviews.com/downl...-tv-box-4.html

Use it with the system/boot/kernel from your zidoo rom. Btw, the up to date Zidoo firmware is currently 1.43

Actually I have a stock firmware from December that'll probably run perfect on your box, I just have to confirm but I think it uses the same pins and wireless drivers as your device. I can upload it and post a link if you'd like.

Doesn't have any kernel/cpu hacks but other than that it'll at least be updated and working.

            Shomari and readers.

Appreciate it mate, thank you. Just one more pointer please, just to get me sorted. I start flashing the Zidoo rom with Rockchip Factory tool using restore function. After a succeful flash i immediately flash the resource from http://chinagadgetsreviews.com/downl...-tv-box-4.html to its resource partition using AndroidTool_Release_v2.35.
Or if you have the time and are willing to send me a link to your stock firmware i'd appreciate that, thanks again for you help. Cheers

... that should work. I'll upload the firmware and post a link.

All readers, having same problems. Fix was indeed as Shomari metioned, just flash the resources and everything is working. Thanks again !
