    Help before I flash the wrong firmware:

    I've recently been given a Ruach A20s TV box to play with, I think it's based on Rockchip 3368, I was pointed to some firmware off of another thread here but I realised that it's for a Ruach a20s which is based on an RK3128.

    I've not flashed it as I don't want a brick,

    Inside the A20s I can see the the infomation:

    Allwinner A20 T - Dual core
    PCB = A20 V 4.5

    Any idea's?

    Thanks

    OK, well It looks like we might have some good old counterfeiting going on? The box the unit came in says Quad core, all information online points to the box having an RK chip. But really it has a A20 dual core chip. Still it would be nice to know if I can upgrade the firmware at all

      Hello,

      I would say no. This Chip is old really old.
      Sorry but don't waste your Time with that Box.
      You can't be get happy with it.

        Thanks buddy,

        I agree, I've had a little play with it and it's rubbish. It was advertised as a RK3368 octa core Cortex A53 processor @ 1.2 GHz which would have been OK for what I wanted. But the A20 is crap, for some reason it was struggling with some 720p files I was trying to play earlier.
