I don't know if this issue is related to the stuttering problem, but sometimes during the middle of the playback I get no sound when using optical output.
Usually sound returns if I turn off the receiver and turn it back on. However, sometimes I still get no sound, so I have to cycle through the inputs of the receiver (sound from HDMI would still work) or pause and resume playback multiple times which is very annoying.
This happens with all apps whether it's kodi, amazon video, pandora, etc.
I would just use HDMI if I could, but DTS/DD passthrough works with optical connection only for me.
The newest firmware, 205L1 didn't help resolve the issue.
I have SPDIF selected in the sound setting of my box.
I have tried factory reset, but still have the same issue.
This is a separate issue, but ever since I upgraded to the newest firmware, Amazon Music app would not play a song. I would have to pause and resume for each song to initiate playback. So continuous playback with a playlist doesn't work.
