Male to Male USB cable pinout diagram for flashing TV Box

Below is the pinout diagram for a Male to Male USB cable used for flashing TV Boxes. This will help to create a DIY Male to Male USB cable from two USB cables. Join the individual wires to match the numbers shown below at both the ends.
Important: Keep the cable joining both the ends as short as possible.

First off: I'm terribly sorry for digging up a year-old thread, but this is killing me.

My computer is not detecting my TV box, so just to clarify: I'm supposed to connect +5V to +5V, ground to ground, data+ to data+ and data- to data- (in short, color to color), right?

        Hello oddbehreif, Welcome to Freaktab.

        1 to 1
        2 to 2
        3 to 3
        4 to 4.
So yes it is straight through. Though I have made these ~1 meter long, shorter(.5mtr or less) is supposedly better.
EDIT: Confirm connections with a meter or DMM if available.

Try uninstalling the driver using the RK Driver Assistant, then restart PC and reinstall the driver.
Note use the latest version of the Driver Assistant, I think that is 4.4, sorry, on phone, don't have link.

I have read of a similar problem regarding Win10, but don't recall at the moment. If I find it, I'll post link.
