    Hi guys,
    just a heads-up

Booting this from a fresh install takes about 2 minutes. No more hanging or re-plugging to get the system starting.

    cyber7-out
    kind regards

Hi cyber7...what can you tell us about new firmware? Better Antutu score? Removed bloatware? Rooted? Any of the kodi or forks running?

I see is almost the double bigger than compared with your stripped rom version.

    Thanks

      AnTuTu score almost double.
      Bloatware gone
Kodi works out the box 100%

I had a report from someone that his kodi kept crashing, I ran kodi with 720p movies for more than 15 hours on the box without problems. I am busy stripping the pre-built stuff and currently am running on a bare-bone with ZDMC (Zidoo's release of Kodi 16 - I also have a Kodi X6 box and the 2 boxes compare and looks a bit like the same thing) and it is fast without problems.
      kind regards

          Hi Guys
I will write a little HOW TO in the morning. Please be on the lookout as it can only benefit you in the long-run...

          ps the basic steps are:
          1. unplug everything.
          2. push a pin into the reset pin at the bottom of the device.
          3. connect your USB2USB (USBA) cable whilst holding the pin in to your computer and your Z64
          4. start "FactoryTool_v1.39" and if the port shows green, load the img file and start the dump.
4.a If you need to install a driver, do so now.
          5. once the dump is complete the Z64 system will boot back into the "desktop"

Technically, this is how you do it. I will give you a full step-by-step tomorrow (with pictures) and you can take it from there...

          cheers

When can you stop holding the pin?after opening FactoryTool?

cyber...is normal Kodi using HW acceleration for the streaming or is the CPU doing the job?

              Thanks
