Modded GeekBox Dual Boot ROM for Tronsmart R68 "Tronsplant your ROM"

Guys,

Today I release modded GeekBox Dual Boot rom.

changes from original:

- TWRP Installed first boot
- Zidoo Kodi 16 installed first boot
- Swap Youtube app with OGYoutube
- Added L3 WideVine DRM
- Uses recompiled kernels for both Android and Lubuntu.
- Changed partition structure to suit 8GB NAND (untested, please report back)

What works:

- IR Remote in both Android and Lubuntu (MAC_Kodi works nicely too)
- WiFi + Bluetooth for R68 Meta ap6335
- Power Controls (Power off etc)

What Doesnt:

- Please Report

Hi Ionix, does this include all the video stutter fixes? Saw lubuntu and it piqued my interest too. Do I just use the Updating instruction&Drivers&Flashing Tools.zip and select this rom instead (sorry, new to flashing anything rockchip, have only flashed samsung phones and my google nexus 5 which just required adb & fastboot). Also, can I use Windows 10 to flash? Thanks .

If Zidoo v7 works for you then this will work also.

Yes, use that file, to update, I haven't used Windows 10, so I'm not sure. this ROM has very similar kernel to my zidoo rom, kodi runs very well with no stuttering, pauses etc
there is no stuttering in youtube app only slight pauses .

Everything should work except Ethernet.

thats a bummer.... ((((((((((( Ethernet is my choice of connection. the box is literally on the router.

do you know if there is workaround to make the Ethernet work?

No GPU acceleration.
But Kodi runs smooth until 1080p.
Imagination Technologies want to charge several tens of thousands of dollars to develop Linux GPU driver for RK3368.
So I'm not sure if Rockchip want to spend that much money when ARM, GPU manufacturer of RK3288 GPU already provided full X11 hardware accelerated Linux GPU driver for free.

I love LUbuntu, KODI UNDERSTAND THAT RUNS WELL. 1,680G free memory, very similar to having installed OpenELEC. But bluetooth is not working.
