Maybe the Rom will Work on your Device.
The disabling of the Mac Check is not a legal thing.
The Firmware from Zidoo is there Work and when they Protect it we have to Accept this.

android is open source, and so is kodi, so zidoo should pay royalties to the developers of kodi and android for not adhering to the open source licence.

They Support Kodi also they release their Source Code for the Kodi Version they doing.

You are free to Modify the Rom Source for you that also you can do.
Rockchip SDK you can get and also the one for Amlogic

What they do is Protect their Work on the Launcher and the UI.
That´s is ok for me because that is a Standing Point of there good Products.
