Tho, as Mag said above, a low priority... I wish the 3399 efforts would precede 3328 work.
Is this guy onto a working option?

The sdcard file is still in .img format, so my n6 won't "map?" it and run it.
Can one of you take a look at this, see if has any merit?
... If so, maybe convert it to a Flashable Zip?

    Thanks for the look!

        Idk G!

... Pull it down, extract, convert / config and run it.
        You tell me?
Several RK mods are there. I think most are temporary and not written to system,,
But again, I don't know the answers..... Only the questions i8-)

gefattern I thought you were able to flash an .Img file?
Try what you can. Burn it with a SD card-maker, I'd really like to know also... Really like to know.
I thought Mods were magical, that way? ....

        gefatternOkay..
        Nothing ventured, nothing gained?
Since nobody else has commented, I will try it on the n6 via recovery.
IF you will pm it as a zip file.

          Hi ,

think not that this will work , flashing TWRP with stock CWM ,

if you need it in .zip , you only have to install 7zip and zip it as

a .zip File , but i think only Way is AndroidTool (first Tab) ,

          good luck / gefattern

I don't understand what you mean.
The developer said, I think, to make a SD card version... Which would then boot up to a temporary twrp.

I was thinking of flashing it via my stock n6 recovery.
You think neither way is possible?

Again, if you can get it into a sdcard loading zip, I will try it.
I doubt it would break my box.
G, did you read the accompanied directions by the builder?
I know it is in Spanish, and would need to be translated.

gefattern hmm? Major apologies to you !
Apparently I don't read so well.
The .img_File is supposed to run directly by bootup in the normal power cord out and reset button depressed then power .
Oem recovery is supposed to do the rest

Man! I can make things difficult.
I will give it a try later and report back
              Thanks for the patience G!

BTW, I'm fairly confident that Rockchip has implemented verified boot starting in Oreo. Just repacking the stock recovery and flashing the partition with Android Tool causes it to hang on reboot recovery.

                  ... Makes me dizzy!?
No love for img thru stock magicsee 3399... "can't map file".
                  Various file.opts were the same.

I will say this rk3399 (7.1.2) is pretty durable, land's right side up (knock on wood!) every time.
All settings, all come back from this try and several other re-ota's of last update just like it was.

I have had to load firmware to straighten a few corrupt ui/apk actions
Worked so far as a reset of the specific problem: magisk, etc

I think the stock recovery, with some added ability would be a real alternative to the elusive (read: impossible) tw..

                  .. Just saying.

Well, I have a build of TWRP 8.1 for RK3328 64-bit Oreo that's ready to test, provided we can find a way to disable AVB.

Still no hope for the 3399 w/ 7.1.2
I have read reams enough to convince me it's a pia lost cause project for almost everyone
Sometimes it just be's like that!
I just wish I had some of my search time back... I hate to fail, after large investments.
... it's enough to make whiskey my friend, again
