I had some issues. Playing 10bit 4k movies on my box in kodi and while searching ran across something I forgot about playercorefactory.xml and MX player. Install MX player and download this file to userdata and restart kodi. Worked like a champ. I am going to see if I can refine to only do the 4k but this is a start. Doesn't work smb but hd or flash will work.
