You must use firmware v1.1 or v1.2(with auto re-fresh rate switching)
(Version 1.0 only supported wifi on the non- Plus version)
I should get some new Marshmallow firmware again soon, then the experiments can start.
The 1st Marshmallow testing firmware didn't have a method for root yet, so it was difficult to test things.
Rockchip removed DTS sound support from Marshmallow, that is why eg. Wasser's other Marshmallow firmwares also have a problem with it.
Think it only affects RK Video Player, but might have problems with RKMC also.
I'm trying to find out more about it, but Nagrace should be able to find out more soon as they can communicate with RK.
The DTS codec can't be bundled commercially as it is copyrighted.
I tested MXPlayer with the external codec on Marshmallow and all DTS sound was working well.
