    possibly bricked MK809 III

Has owned the MK809 III for 5 days.
Found an app on it called SU#.
Inspected the app and accidentally flashed my device.
Now when I try to boot it up, I get an error.

    Any help would be appreciated.

It looked like an app that was pre-loaded.
Why would the manufacturer pre-load a bug?
I believe the app is Superuser a program ment to gain root access.

I accidentally choose the "TPW / CDA" (might not have the letters right) option and flashed my stick.
There was no confirmation button, so I fell right into it.
Now when I try to boot up, it shows that error I posted an image of.

      Recovery system v.5

E: failed to mount /mnt/external_sd (No such drvice)
      Finding update package...
      Opening update package...
      Verifying update package...
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
      Installing update...

      Rebooting...

Shows the "Smart TV" splash screen and then it goes right back into the error.

      Can't find a reset switch.
Can't get the seller to respond, to get the original ROM flash.
Wouldn't know what to do with it if I got it.
Only thing I've ever flashed before was a Sony PSP.

If it's that simple, all I need is the ROM to flash and a step by step guide to flash it.

My MK 809 III is the 3229 chip I think, with 2gb RAM and 16gb ROM.

Just let me know what to do and I'll figure it out as I go.

Don't know if it matters but, the WiFi sucks really bad.
Dongle is 6' away from wireless router, in same room, yet video streaming is very bad.

One thing at a time. Lol

                    Super helpful people here.
I've stalked this page for months and nothing.
Only vague information if you dare to call them answers.
A series of q&a helps lead to results, non of which were offered here.

This web site and it's so called helpful people...
Flat lined on this topic with miserable precision.

I would expect more from so called "moderators".
Other website blow this one out of the water when it comes to tech knowledge, experience and help.

This will be the last time I visit or post on this garbage site. Middle finger to you!

                    Thanks for all the fish.

                      Sorry oops,

"Inspected the app and accidentally flashed my device."
                      How could that happen?

And then you are trolling around against FreakTab Moderators. Even when we can't help, this is not the correct way to response.

You are banned for a while, but you don't want to come back. Then it means no punishment for you.

                      One last hint for you.
Find the original firmware and flash again.
When you don't get it, your in trouble, because then you have to try it with Firmware from other brands until you find the right one.
Flash only RK3229 Firmware, if this is your platform.
The problem will be to find one, where you have wifi support.
