Can't help you with such an abandoned device.
Stay away from MXQ unless you want endless problems.
      Search Chinagadgets for firmware.

Could you explain how the .img file was generated? What steps were taken to create this ROM?

The Firefly link given fails to tell how the the source code at https://gitlab.com/TeeFirefly/FireNo...firefly-rk3399 was generated. Also, the .git folder in the beginning. How is that generated and where is it pulled from?

The source code comes from Rockchip's secure severs.
You have to ask the manufacturer of your device for the source code for their specific device, each device is different and to convert the git/repo to normal files.
Or buy a development board then you can get it easier.

I'm trying to make an ATV rom for the rk3229. So far, so good. But I have a problem and would like to know if you can help me. Every video stream (Youtube, Twitch) keeps freezing and only the audio continues. I don't know if is some codec problem, kernel problem, MALI drivers... Can you give me some light?

            Never had that problem before.
            What firmware are you using?

          mo123
          I'm using the A95X_R1_SSV6051P_complex_tvmc_change_100_ddr624_up datewifidriver_RK3229_6.0.1_201700704.img
It's the best that I found so far to make those modifications.

Thank you for your recovery. You know although these boxes are made in China, China is a dictatorship and blocks Google.

                    No, I don't.
Try to ask the manufacturer or seller where you bought it from.
