HPH NT-N8 RK3229 Custom Nougat ROM

Thanks Mo, tested and all seems to be working, ..TV Now, Netflix, Amazon, Showmax, Spotify. Only Youtube is a issue. I get the 5 spinning dots but the video never play. What am I missing?

The Youtube app comes from here, it has add-blocking and some extra settings the normal Youtube doesn't have.

I think specific versions or a setting inside the app might cause it to take a long time to load videos sometimes, I also had problems a few times.
Try to make the default quality 1080p in the settings.

You can try these other Youtube apps also.

The normal Youtube app should also play better and have 4K support, it might ask to install over the other Youtube app.

Ok , thx for the links to other versions. The app auto updated itself to the "normal" version. I'll try one of the others again.
On Youtube vanced...non-rooted or rooted version? Do i need to install the MicroG package or is it already in your rom?

It uses the root version under /system/app/Youtube
I will upload a root firmware then it can be changed.

Will upload a new ROM to help with Youtube playback today or tomorrow.
You will be able to update the app if a new one is released and uninstall it easily.
Tested 20 videos after closing the app several times and videos didn't freeze anymore.

- Removed long press back button for mouse mode is it activates accidentally
- Updated apps

I see there are 2 Youtube apps, just use the second one, will remove it in the next update

Never.
You can't install a ROM from a different chipset on another device, completely different hardware and drivers.
You have an Amlogic device, this is a Rockchip ROM.
