i'm not sure if i understand your question but, as i said earlier:
"the main problem seems to by while in test device mode, pc disconnects for a second every time, and stops the process.
I don't think it's a software problem, rather hardware failure."

When the device is blocked Red LED to enter recovery the bridge is made that I see that you have done it once the PC has recognized it is no longer needed, the bridge is removed.

i hope the video will help you understand whats the problem, at 18 second the device disconnects itself for a second and thats when the process stops

Be sure to flash the correct firmware !
there seems to be two variants of this box with
different WiFi chips LTM8830 And AP62255
Is it possible you could msg the seller and ask for the
Firmware it saved me alot time and effort.
If not you need to identify your WiFi chip and the correct firmware. If your unsure on Ur WiFi chip there's apps on Google
play store that can tell you.

I did manage to succesful instal the image, but the red led is still on, i do think islis a hardware issue. I didnt find any other img for the RK3318.

You may be right about wrong software but i can't find any other to test it anyway.

I've used the one from here https://www.h96tvbox.com/content/6-Firmware-upgrade

Have you tried this firmware and tools?
i flashed and updated my h96 max using
That firmware and drivers and flash tool.

yup, i 've tried this one, still RED LED on board.

as i understand you have updated your box, but it was working fine before the update?
my problem was that the box bricked by itself, and was only flashing with RED LED, no blue LED at all. So it seems a hardware problem.
Did you have RED LED on your board?

No I didn't I just had few issue with 4k YouTube streaming.
if my box had the same failure as yours I would message the seller there the ones who can help more than anybody else.
If your box is faulty just return it.

Ive contacted the seller, they suggested to send it back bit i need to cover the shipping costs which are about half the box is worth, so thats why wanted to fix it myself.
                            probably ill just return it.

I buy my electronics from Amazon so if I have issue I will get full refund and told just to bin the product, the problem I found
with buying these android box's your taking a gamble but I gotta say this box is a brilliant device and I got for 35£ that's
a fantastic deal 4gb 32gb storage quad core and on Android 9.0 them specs are more and 60£ ± range. I did have few issues with firmware but I corrected that by messaging the seller and explained the issues , box I have is the exact one on first page of this topic and from what I read and seen the box's had a mass rushed factory firmware and what I got from my seller was the last final firmware for this box and I say final
Because there is zero issues with it and corrects any issues I found.
Any who hope you fix your problem.
