Actually no, I just assume it is because I've never seen an android device w/o recovery.

Where can I find a recovery image for this hardware?

Hi ,

first you shall check if it really is not installed , this shall work with some Tools on PC ,
you can make a Backup of FW with Tools like "rkdumper" or "AndroisTool" , but with AT ,
there are only some Versions that support that Function , i think , or you dlash on from a
same Box , if available ,

I'm not sure how to do any of those things. Wouldn't it be simpler just to install a recovery image over the currently installed (if any)?
