Yes, all the 4K and 1080p videos will be downscaled to 720p.
It will only play in 1080p or 4K if your device supports auto frame-rate in Kodi which it doesn't.

managed to install superceleron SCV2 in XJH-RK28-V11
unpacked firmware.img and installed all partitions except the loader
correct loader is MillionALL.bin

what is the exact procedure step by step plz? idiot proof if possible.

What's working and what's not with which FW? The conversation got a bit confused and did some try to use this Box with Rock64 or other Desktop-Images? It seems to be pretty similar to the Pine64 Board.

Stock Build: rk3328_box-userdebug 7.1.2 NHG47K eng.qinzhendong.20170830.225537 test-keys

Flashed superceleron SCV2 , and now it does not pass boot.
I think it have something to do with loader.

Restore, via AndroidTool 2.3.9, with partition images, backup made with rkDumper 1.05

I found a solution to three problems.
1 - only brum sound on AV output (stereo output),
2 - freezing the box on alternative firmware,
3 - low quality wifi or bluetooth signal.

Check the dimensions of the jack plug and select the appropriate drill bit.
Open the casing and remove the motherboard - check that it works on this cable.
Enlarge the AV output hole.
Make sure your wifi and bluetooth antennas are not short circuited. Solder again if there is a short circuit.
My device overheated. The heatsink is very small and was badly glued.
Gently remove the heat sink from the processor. Remove the adhesive tape. For gluing, use a thermal adhesive, do not use adhesive tape. The processor is not flat and the tape is not covere on the processor. If you have - use a thicker heat sink.

Has anyone managed to login to Android or to break into either the Rockchip or the U-Boot boot loader using the serial console?
I have only managed to get the boot loaders' log output but unfortunately I get no further output once the Android/Linux kernel starts booting.
I thought the baud rate might have changed but setserial says it is 1.5 Mbps as for the boot loaders.
The situation is the same with both the stock firmware and trebor's firmware.

I have also been unable to get Bluetooth working: it disables itself almost immediately.
Judging from dmesg there seems to be a conflict between BT and the serial console.
UPDATE: BT works if I unsolder my serial console. So there is clearly an interaction between them

I should be most grateful for any help.
