Don't know.
Failed on first boot (dead) was waiting for a replacement.

Received my box from aliexpress yesterday so far really happy with it plays 10bit h265 flawlessly. Comes with Kodi and several useful apps already installed which I appreciated also came with a remote which I wasn't expecting. Best part is in only cost me $36 US what a bargain!

The wifi on this is disgusting! I was thinking of buying a wifi adaptor like this to improve things.

But how would I configure it would it just be plug and play or will I have to change settings on android somehow?

I am aware from other units that type of PCB built in Antenna they are not the best.....did you try moving channels up or down in your router may help.

Not sure how you would re-configure that thing as Android is more Plug and Pray

Ahh ok thanks man. Router settings are good as every other device gets plenty of bars for example my phone and laptop get a good 4-5 bars each and they are basically next to it. it's just the A5X Max that struggles it barely picks up wifi and constantly disconnects. It's a shame because besides that it's a great box. I'll keep doing some research and let you guys know how I go.

Hello everyone
I have been an A5X MAX 4GB for months and tried to put the firmware of the A5X Max + as an update, and once installed perfectly with its apk plugs but I noticed that the Ethernet and Wifi connections did not work, returning again to install the original firmware of the device .
The problem is that I do not have the Supersu, and when I install it in the original firmware, it does not start.
Any solution ?

Previously I started a review with the 4/16GB Android 7 version.

Now we get to see the 4/32GB version with Oreo 8...

All the same as previous images above, PCB Ram remove
Difference being the 32GB eMMC this unit is using a Toshiba eMMC I believe
Same WiFichip and PCB Antenna,

I do hope it's an improvement over the last 3328 with Oreo...more to come

There is no Root access, or upper and lower Bars.

The Ui I feel is snappy and overall ok so far.

8.1 has been a bit of an problem for the Mi Box and others
Being New to be expected, if it's working ok for now dont fix it I say

But in saying that you will never know if you don't have a go.
