You must use 7-zip to unpack the firmware correctly.
I really can't remember if there is a password for v1.5 or not, I made and tested rk3229, rk3328 firmware the same time.
Anyway, v1.5 is old, I will release a new firmware on 19/05/2018 again

On what device are you using the firmware, if different then the remote, bt or wifi might not work but it should still work.
Also remember to flash with a new AndroidTool like v2.43/v2.39 not v2.35.

the 23,976 playback issue on android and the audio issue on LibreElec makes no fun :-(
It is now holidays in China until Wed/Thu, so maybe the final Oreo will be released next week if Google finished the licensing perhaps.
AndroidTV has very limited apps so with no Google license you can find/install less than 100 apps from the Play Store.
AndroidTV also shows normal apps upside down so that needs to be fixed for tv box usage.
I tested YoutubeTV and that worked very well.

For Netflix AndroidTV app, they need to certify also on their own and only do it for companies selling more than 2 million AndroidTV devices a year so I think it will be a bit difficult. Will first have to wait for the final release firmware to see how the Netflix app works.
You should also be able to sideload the normal app and get higher resolutions.
For Amazon I have no idea how they work, if they allow their app on all AndroidTV devices or have different restrictions.

AndroidTV Oreo 8.1 seems to work nice.
Just a lot of setting device up for the first time and linking your account, device on a PC first.
All the banners are at the top compared to eg. Nvidia AndroidTV Nougat where everything is at the bottom, will check if it's possible to change somehow.
Just a bit different to get used to everything and all the sideloading of apps.
MediaCenter app has it's own banner.
If someone knows of a better method than Sideload Launcher with it's massive icons, let me know.
Google cast also included, Google voice commands for search etc.
Just a lot of Google bloatware which is not removable and is required to run AndroidTV.
I also hate the fact you can't set a wallpaper on AndroidTV.
Can't access any system files or root which is not supported on AndroidTV.
Need to check Teamviewer, it said compatible device detected but you must contact support, so will have to find out about that.
    Sideloaded Kodi 18 all work.
    More testing later today.
Should be released soon after Google certifies the device, i'ts needed for the Netflix AndroidTV app to work, I couldn't get it to work.

    hi mo,

did a quick test reg 23,976 and i didnt noticed any judder, have to watch a complete video. used latest nightly kodi.

FYI, i mentioned earlier compared to the Zidoo, the IR / RC is not smooth, have to push buttons twice still (GUI and Kodi).
    Dont you have this too?

so far thx a lot for your work and great support.
