This unit is much the same as the MXR pro i did awhile ago, but has a new Rev PCB, WiFi Chip, New Case and other things if you looking hard enough.
The a new case at first glance thought it was a mass of Vents but on just a dimple effect pity.

Hi, I bought this device andIam quite happy with the overall performance, but I have 2 Issues.
1.) my device is not rooted, or I cant find the setting to activate it (please advise)
2.) Our App requires the Feature to run also in portrait, so far I have not found a way that the screen can be rotated.
Please help on this issues.
Firmware version is 1.0.0 (acc to firmware updater it is up to date ;-))
Please note that this new firmware is not necesarilly good for all MXR PRO+ Tv boxes. I updated my TV box MXR PRO+ with firmware for board number MXQ_RK3328_D V1.1 and I lost wifi and bluetooth. My TV box is from Geekbuying and it has a different board as you can see in my previous post. Board number of my TV box is MQX_RK3328_D4-A ver. 1.1. Maybe this new firmware will be good for my variant of board number. I will test it this afternoon to see if wifi and bluetooth will work again with this firmware from Geekbuying. I think it is a good ideea not to flash this new firmware untill I confirm that is working with my model of PCB board.
I have tested the firmware and it is not working for my MXR Pro+ wich I bought it from geekbuying.com. Wifi and bluetooth is not working. They cannot be started. Wifi mac address is 02:00:00:00:00:00:00.
Led is red when it should be blue and viceversa. Probably geekbuying is selling also clones of MXR Pro+.
