I just loaded this firmware on another R-TVBOX Mini+. The first boot takes a long time, it's tempting to think it's in a boot loop and intervene...don't. It sits on the splash screen for about 3 minutes, then on an initialization screen for another 3 minutes. Then opens to the setup screen. Then you are good to go.

its rooted?

Root Checker app reports that it is rooted. I remember reading a post by someone who updated SU and it bricked his box. Not sure if that's the case in this ROM.
I've noticed an issue with WiFi disconnecting after the box sitting idle for some time. I run an app called "Keep WifI On" that seems to stop it from occurring.
Sometimes if the power fails, the box doesn't come back on and the power to the box must be cycled. It has come back up with the WiFi disconnected and unable to connect, toggling the WiFi to disable then enable and cycling the power once more, the WiFi comes up connected.
