I own two bricked devices, I got the firmware from Gearbest's support themselves.

I tried to upgrade/restore firmware using rockchip batch tool, but no luck.

Boots for two seconds and then screen goes black!

What am I missing here ?

Hi ,

are you sure that a Rom is installed , did you ever installed a Rom on a RK Box ??? ,

please look on big G for "Firmware Upgrade Guide for Rockchip devices" , this will

show you a Freaktabpage with Instructions how to do it ,

did you try to replug the HDMI Cable ??? or on another TV ,

sometimes the Resolution is wrong set ,

The link to the post you linked had one firmware for mini_rk3328_d32_ssv6051_x88mini_20180806_r1 but in the end of the post you linked another post to firmware file for the A5X..

Which one should I use ?

Yes that's true but this file is working better it got wifi and Bluetooth and the box hardly get hot I havr been using the file for four days and don't have any complaint A5X MAX 4GB+32GB_20180827.rar

And you used AndroidTool ? RKBatchTool or the FactoryTool in chinese ?
