As the title says I have a brand new H96 Max plus and I plug it all in and try turn it on and nothing happens. There is a red light when I plug it in and that is it. Nothing happens when I press the on button on the remote. I tried a different power cable and that made no differen. Anyone recommend anything to try? Don?t want to send it back as I would rather fix it but I can?t even get it to turn on!

You do not need turn on. It is important to connect to a PC. If the software is fine, it will go.

Try to load firmware with factory tools 1.6 again . I tried to load it version 1.4 and it didn't open like your problem.Comment

You need:
1) Turn off box (de-energize)
2) Click button in av port and leave the button pressed
3) Turn on your box
4) Release the button (after about 3 seconds)
5) In the displayed menu (the tv box all the time, the on HDMI port is connected to the TV) select bootloader
6) Connect pc and your tv box
7) Try to load firmware with factory toolsComment
