H96max 4/32gb Android 8.1 back to Android 7.1 ?

Is it possible to revert the Android OS 8.1 on this back to Android 7.1?

The two builds I have loaded (both 17.6) have various problems I have read when using the Android 8.1 OS.

Buttons not working, not full(partial) screen displays etc.

Or are there newer builds (Kodi apk's?) written for 8.1 OS?

Hello pclaptop ,

You can revert the Firmware back to Android 7.1.
All you have to do is clear the Nand & Bootloader and Flash the Firmware.
Kodi should run on 7.1 also fine. The Problems you tell about are more Firmware related.

I even reloaded Kodi 18 on to the Android 8.1 box AND a 18 build and still the various bugs/glitches and problems persist!
