hi,

i have installed it on my A5X MAX+ and it is working so far. but when i will use amazon prime&netflix the apps are runnung fine but the streams doesn?t play.

any idea on that ?

If you are using Android TV version apk of Netflix and Amazon Prime Vidéo.
This rom don't use the correct DRM version needed.
So you need to use smartphone version of the apk

Can someone tell me what is the best version of kodi or kodi fork for this Rom? I tried a few differnt ones and I'm having trouble getting smooth playback.

First time fail on end, I don't remember, I believe doing a check after loading. And after that it fail ao the beginig, no way to write anymore any firmware. the problem, this is a Q96 plus, no firmware around, the seller is an **** store, they contacted the supplier and we still waiting. I already tried to install other T9 firmware, similiar board, same layout, cpu, and it fail ate begining idb check.

I ask able to get a backup from armbian booting in another device and restoring the back on the broken one. Is working now.

This build have root access ? (need for usb gamepad controler)

Can I boot from USB stick for testing Libreelec for example or can only boot from SD-Card ?

The Minix uses an Amlogic S912 processor, this is a Rockchip firmware so it will never be possible to flash it to your device.
Ask Minix to support their old devices and not abandon them.

Don't know if I explained incorrectly.
I was talking about Minix, the tv box company and brand that only keeps one OS version updated on all their devices.
But I think Amlogic don't support recent versions of Android on the S912 anyway and no one would be able to built anything new for them.
It's just cheaper and easier to buy a new chipset device.

So I try your release in my old MX10 Ver1.0 and all works fine.. Reicast works but it's not really good for that emulation, still problem of fps and sound, but it's playable..
