I got this box from my cousin and he no longer uses it. I am using it to essentially for streaming purposes - Netflix, STB, Youtube and Kodi.
I noticed when I boot up the box, it has an awful looking user interface and I am wondering how do I update it to look like something else. I apologize for the lack of information here as I am not used to the lingo applied to these boxes. I dont know where he got it from as he's in the army and stationed remotely for a year or longer. I just know he bought if off Amazon.
I have installed launchers through Google Play but they never work properly or seem to lag or have issues.
The box currently is running Android 8.1 the interface says SMART TV BOX in the upper left corner.
I would like to change it to something like this:
At the very least something that looks modernized.
I would greatly appreciate any advice or help in getting this sorted out.
