Help to upgrade ROM A5X MAX

Hi All, i hope to stay in the best forum to ask some infos regarding my box.
My box actually haveROM A5X MAX.o.01.d4 version with Android 8.1

Hardware & OS

CPU: RK3328 Quad-Core 64bit Cortex-A53 GPU: Dual-Core Mali-450 OS: Android Oreo RAM: 4GB DDRIII ROM: EMMC 32GB

I would like move to Android 9.0.Are there ROMS (official/unofficial) for this box?
Because i found very different opinions regarding this point.

Can someone help or suggest me,please?

You can try my roms from my thread, dont recommend android9 stock firmware better you stick with android 7.1 i have made custom rom for the box it will run.

All newer roms are like "they just work" they have big bugs and no real support, framerate switching does not work and other problems.

I installed the RK3328 Androidtv 7.1.2 from your thread and it works well. However I would like to ask you how I can root it using the rooted image that you provided.Thanks in advance.
