Upgrade fail after Markrom Mode complete

Hello to all,

I managed to enter maskrom mode and while I try to upgrade the firmware I get this message.
Any ideas?
Just to add my laptop recognizes the board only after I connect the power supply. Could it be a thin USB cable?

You are using the wrong tool to flash the device.

Hi ,

for PC & flashing you always need Power , think you bricked it , maybe the Bootloader ,

try if a SD Rom works , booting from SDcard ,

Some observations

Maybe should listen to mo123
You are trying to Flash Android 9 with 1.8 ?
Driver Assist 4.4?

If you are in MaskRom Mode
Will have more success with Stock Firmware Andoid 6 / 7.12 to recover

for sure you must use latest Drivers & Tools and use the right Rom as possible the Stockrom

for this Box , for sure a A7 Rom , or ??? , upgrade from A7 to A9 , or what was the way ???

Did you flash it without Power or what ??? more Infos always better to help ,

Ps : the tool not even show "download boot fail" or similar errors
