It is very heartening to see that Magicsee is making effort to fix the bugs......

Yes..they are also sending me a ota version,, likely tonight.

So I give M-see high marks for timely email responses.

They are obviously working the problems.
They reply pretty quickly, and multiple times a day...
-Despite being hammered with a river of email bug complaints.

Hopefully they rethink the "get to market quickly" plan,
Replacing it with the "get it to market Correctly"

I am hopeful for the N6max... Truly.
All it needs is some MOJO. (smile and a wink)

Those Bug fixes nothing for me and I do not re-flash my Box for this+

Today I bought "Air-Mouse" at $ 10,not bad works on all functions except(ON/OFF button=only work OFF but do not work ON
so it doesnt matter for me)

N6 Remote's "Mouse" function get me mad
also buttons not work easy/good too!
direction/angle is very bad!

In near future I'll buy another better/good quality AirMouse

Not;my new Remote with KeyBoard(back side) but not with illumination and buttons very small hard to read it!
seems its for "Women" so not usefull,but mainly I use only Air-mouse

The major updates are for Netflix update and Primevideo crash.
I have written to them for fixing the standby issue and the screensaver since they are very important for OLED and plasma owners.
Hopefully they will fix it post Chinese new year.
But i think at least this is a change in the positive direction.

Unless they pay Netflix $5m a year and get Netflix Certified which can take 6-12 months and run AndroidTV OS instead of Tablet Android OS, it's never happening.

Of course, I d know what all was written to the 840mg update.
It did correct my bootloop issue, so obitviously rewrites the bootloader.

Lists of bugs so far all put together:

- 10 bit h264/h265 video is not stable
- Type C port not working
- Screensaver not working. Sleep is buggy, and wakes without remote used
- DRM not available
- HDMI handshaking issues
- Amazon Prime Video crashing
- Netflix app not compatible, need to use old v4.12 app
- HDR not working
- Youtube freezing after 5 minutes
- Can't use SuperSU 2.81 then the device goes into a bootloop
- Wifi issues with 2.4Ghz
- Wifi disconnects by itself sometimes
- HDMI CEC not working
- 4K videos downscaled to 1080p in Kodi
- No deinterlacing support in Kodi
- Auto frame-rate and colorspace switching not available
- Can't play high bitrate flac audio files
- Can't add a default route when modifying the static ip for ethernet
- Can't write to external storage
- NTFS Write and Exfat support missing
- Can't install Nova or other launchers then they crash
- Can't connect 2TB or higher hard-drives mostly Seagate and other brands
- Lots of apps missing or not possible to install from the Play Store

I don't think new S905x2 devices have even half of these issues.
So lets hope Magicsee can fix everything or not.

SD card OTA Built this week. About 850mg.

Just popped it in, loaded through recovery,, wiped dalvik and after a 2-3 minute boot... It is now about fully loaded again

Has drm showing L3., no sleep settings in main menu, doesn't like to run titanium bkup,, reboot , sericon's busybox, most launchers and other apps too.. I haven't figured what is the common problem affecting this behavior.
The hybrid TV / tablet os i suspect.

One root checker reports root, another one shows Not Same with busybox and I think safety net also, Very Strange!?
I do have a bottom action bar I thought others were missing that option

More looking around, but a Lot of goodness mixed with a little strange frustrations.

Note;I'v 2 LCD TV(FHD/1080 both are) when playing videos YT as normally I'v selected 1080p and no any playing issue
therefore when I'v selected 1440p than O.K playing smooth
BUt when I'v selected 2160p than freeze!!

I'v never try it my Box with UHD-TV and might be it works again or freeze??
