So far im still running on first charge - Battery life is way more than expected - lucky to get 10-12 hours out of my Galaxy S2 - With that in mind im not too bothered about killing tasks other than the onboard one, But Auto Booster sounds interesting...

Android Assistant's auto boost kills hand picked tasks(or will ignore) at set intervals, but also other usefull things batch installer/uninstall, start up manager, batch backup/restore ect... and its free.

A word of warning with task killers they can be bad news for battery life as they are continually running in the background. I tried lots on my phone and battery boosters and found them to be worse than just leaving the os to do its own thing

For me some apps won't run full speed (REAL SLOW) unless I kill junk...after the slaughter they work fine. Yes they do "suck" battery, but only if its constantly running (auto boost).
Worried about battery use Super Booster app doesn't run in backround..

Has anyone thought of just restarting the tablet to get rid of all the clutter. It only takes a few seconds with GingerComb.

There is a good Script made by Zeppelinrox which i use on my Phone.

Have a read through the below Forum thread for more info :

Hope it helps anyone out there if they are worried with memory managment.

If I use the aggressive setting I can reduce my memory usage by 200mb on my Phone (instead of 100mb free i get 300 mb free) and it does feel snappier when using it.

Now that Script Manager is working on the Tablet (i couldnt get it to work on 1.5) Im assuming the script should work also however as always - make a backup and use at your own risk.

Just got a nice new replacement 10G2, flashed 2.0A and all went well.

However, now when in GooglePlay, any apps I'd previously purchased aren't being flagged as such.

Any idea on what needs to be done to fix that?

I had the same issue , clearing the data in Google play should fix the problem.

That's worked for most of them, there's still one that isn't purchased - Mantano Reader Premium. Any other ideas?

Edit: I've logged in to my play account from pc, and managed to get it up as purchased, but currently having probs dl'ing to tablet. more to come...

Other than re-booting that's me stumped as clearing the data gave me all my purchased aps (apart from incompatible aps that won't show up at all).

GooglePlay won't let me download it, comes up with error 941 - whatever that means.
I've installed a backup of an older version from a few weeks ago, and that works, update also causes the 941 error.

Never had any problems like that with 2.0a everything just worked fine straight away for me??

                                thanks BOB top job

been running the ginger comb now for 5 days now, have to say it's great.
not without issues, getting force closes a lot, with new install apps from play, and from re installing apps from es file explorer, and some from app injector. But overall very pleased. keep up the tremendous work..
