The Netflix sometimes plays, sometimes buffering and not play again, sometimes crash, and sometimes says "Unable to connect to Netflix"
When the Ethernet USB is connected during the boot, the T428 stay in animation loop. when I disconnect the usb, the boot continue "normally". When this happen do not mount the sd cards (internal and external). The Crackle APP shows me "Inconpatible with your device". May be area thing?

What is the chipset of the USB ethernet? Please don't tell me make/model as that won't help!

I can't recompile until the weekend, but if you let me know the chipset I'll give see what I can do. If you want to go the full nine yards then you can find the linux drivers for your chipset too!

Finless - thank you so much for this great ROM. Here are my observations
1. Netflix works great. Full HD. First ROM I ever tested with perfect netflix
2. Youtube is perfect
3. Rom is fast. No shutdowns yet.
4. All my apps are working great except for USA now app. The voice synch is off. It might just be the app.

Here are a few hiccups
1. When I tested on my 52 inch TV, the HDMI signal goes blank every few mins. I switched the ROM to 720p and the issue went away. Luckily my video quality did not degrade. I tested on my 24 inch monitor and every thing was perfect. It might be my TV..not sure.

Support for that chipset is built-in to all kernels by default. I have a USB 'dongle' with that chipset and many of the TV Boxes (Minix etc) have that chipset on the board.

I am betting based on what he is saying that the hangs ups and reboots are power related!
Are you using a powered USB hub? If not good chance this is your issue.

I just tested my Ethernet stick on my T428 using a powered USB hub and it works fine for me.
It is a Sabrent with ASIX AX88772A same chip as yours.

some problems

the rom is amazing!!! but i have a few problems...
i installed the 6gb pack with 1080 kernel and image.
here are the thing...
when i'm using DLNA i can't stream HD movies, even if they wight less than 3GB, evrey 3 seconds it stops for a sec or two.
i can't download anything from chrome ot torrent apps, it always shows me a "no sdcard" small notfication and nothing happens.
when i sync my photos from google photos app i can watch sphere photos.
i also don't find few apps like yahoo weather, google keep...

I have a silly question here, I noticed that some games IE Clash Of Clans will download and play no problem, but a game like The Simpsons Tapped Out wont let me install because it says my device is not compatible, anyway to fix that?

The reboot APP I added should shut it down but dang it... I did test that for sure.

Search in the play store for "Hide softkeys" or hide "soft buttons". Also fill!screen (yes spelled that way) works too to hide the bottom bar.

Thanks for the tips Bob worked great and also using XBMC Gotham works great for 1080p over wifi and even shocked at the difference that this stick doesn't give off for heat

Any idea what I can do about making the device think I'm running some other device to play a game off the Play store? Is it easy to switch.

difference nitro rom vs T428 KitKat

I need a help.
Currently using the nitro rom, from which I am pretty happy.
There are times that the T428 burns wildly. With this rom, will I have the same problems to the heatin ? or not ?

I wanted to know and the difference between the two rom. nitro rom vs kitKat Finless.
I would like an advise.

I'm going to test this beauty during weekend or week because i'm going to be on vacation and since in Portugal it stop rainning i might going to achieve my Vitamin D getting some sun......

Btw i'm going to test xbmc, usb hub with ethernet, usb ethernet asix, and even my gasia PS3 controller to see what goes on that.....

Finless KK 2.0 T428 rom by far the best I've used, running 1080p XBMC Gotham over wifi I have no issues and unit gets warm, does not overheat or lock up. It's a nice welcome to finally have a good rom and version of XBMC for this T428

Next to try will be PS3 controller with this stick tonight
