Help! Hardware damage or locked ram? MK908II lose half the capacity of ram !

Hi everyone, sorry for my bad english
This problem make me frustrating, my MK908II memory only appears 1Gb and not compatible with any game, running very choppy, opening android menu not smooth at all... even my single core android phone can beat my quad core MK908II
Before i get this problem, my MK908II works fine with finless rom 1.5a , i then reflashing back to stock rom nothing changes.

    Thank you, please help me

I've had clones that were mislabeled before and if I remember correctly changing the bootloader is what made the "fake" ram disappear on me. This was with a mk808 **** clone though.

Sent from my mobile device. Please excuse any typos.

      Thank you, but I think MK908II has 512Mb x 4 ram chipset

What has happened is some loader you flashed changed what it thinks it has for NAND memory.

The only way to fix that is to put it in MASK ROM mode by shorting NAND pins on the chip.
Unfortunately the POS MK908-ii has a Foresee NAND memory and I have yet to find a way to put it into MASK ROM mode for flashing.

          See here:

Sorry to hijack this thread.. but I am in a similar situation.
In my case, NAND size reported is 1906MB & make SAMSUNG.

Tried with flashing with both BatchTool v1.7 & Finless 1.5a tools.
I can erase the IDB, but then flash tool reports
              ERROR:WriteIDBlock-->memcmp failed. Log2014-03-31.txtLog2014-03-29.txt

Did a lot of hunting around to see who makes these Foresee NCTSTS76-08G chips and found this link. Unfortunately no data sheet!!!

hi bob I've managed to get into maskrom mode ( after shorting pin 8 and 9 I got blue square at Rockchip Batch Tool ) and reinstall rom successfully. but the problem still persist.

Sorry for my bad english , I'm using google translate

Only thing I can think of is you have had a hardware failure with NAND. Sorry cant help much more.
